This Return & Refund Policy outlines the conditions and procedures for returning items and receiving refunds. By purchasing from Marché Gouverneur, you agree to the terms set forth below.
2. Returns for Perishable Products
Eligible Items: Perishable products include fresh produce, meat, dairy, frozen goods, and similar temperature-sensitive items.
Return Window: You may return perishable products within 2 days of purchase.
Condition of Items:
Items must be unopened and unused to qualify for a return.
Frozen products must remain frozen (unthawed) at the time of return.
Exclusions: We cannot accept returns of perishable items that have been opened, partially consumed, or improperly stored (e.g., allowed to thaw).
3. Returns for Non-Perishable Products
Eligible Items: Non-perishable products include dry goods, canned or jarred items, packaged foods, and other items not requiring refrigeration.
Return Window: You may return non-perishable items within 7 days of purchase.
Condition of Items:
Items must be unused, unopened, and in their original packaging.
Items should be in resalable condition (no damage or signs of wear).
4. Refund Policy
Perishable Items: No refunds are provided for perishable items (fruits, vegetables, fresh produce, meat, dairy, frozen goods, etc.) unless there is a verified issue with product quality directly attributable to us.
Non-Perishable Items: Refunds are only issued if the returned item meets the non-perishable product conditions above and is returned within the specified time frame.
In-Store Returns Only: All returns must be processed in-store at Marché Gouverneur. We require proof of purchase (receipt or order confirmation email).
Original Payment Method: Approved refunds will be issued to the original form of payment. Please allow up to 7-10 business days for the refund to be processed, depending on your financial institution.
5. How to Initiate a Return

Bring Proof of Purchase: A physical or digital receipt/order confirmation must be presented at the time of return.
Inspection: A staff member will inspect the item(s) to verify eligibility based on the criteria listed above. If your return is approved, we will process your refund or replacement accordingly.

Damaged or Defective Items: If you receive a damaged or defective product, please notify us immediately upon discovery (within 24 hours of receiving the order) so we can address the issue promptly.
Health & Safety Regulations: Due to health and safety regulations, we cannot restock certain items once they leave our premises, which is why strict timelines and product conditions apply.
